DALLAS, Nov. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Southridge Enterprises Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SRGE) ("Southridge" or the "Company") is pleased to announce today that Southridge Minerals, Inc., its wholly owned subsidiary, today announced a cash dividend of $0.00003 per common share, payable on November 22, 2012 to shareholders of record at the close of business November 15, 2012. The dividend represents a payout of just over 5% of the recently reported quarterly net income.

"While it is unusual for a Company like Southridge to declare a cash dividend at this stage of development, we felt that it was the right thing to do for our shareholders given the Company's current cash position and outlook," said Michael Davies, the President & CEO of SRGE.

"The Company reported net income of $311,611 on revenues of $942,314 for the period ending May 31, 2012."

$311,611 x 5% = $15,580.55

So lets see - how much will it cost the company in legal fees and the all the required filings and tracking down all the shareholders on a NOBO/OBO list to send out this CASH DIVIDEND?

Seems like a whole lotta work for $15k.

But if rumors were right and this was a way to "GET SHORTY" who has shorted hundreds of millions of shares - seems worth it!

Also there is something to be said about the true assets of this company - "The Believers" - certainly they will be impressed!

The shares sold today should easily cover that $15k.
Has this company added another page to the share selling scheme playbook? will they actually go through with this $15k cash dividend that appears to be well worth the action they got from it?

Dividends are only paid on outstanding shares of stock; no dividends are paid on the treasury stock.
" a payout of just over 5% of the recently reported quarterly net income."

$0.00003 per common share x (last reported o/s) 545,874,868 =

$16376.25
