Nightly Topic Post: Being I was away numerous days last week and didn't post a nightly topic I though I would throw a quick topic on tonight to make up for last weeks lost nights while I was away. This will just be a quick one. Regarding Pennies and trading aftermarket..... Many times we all read Posts wherein a post will comment that a Penny is up after hours. Pennies do not trade after hours. Some may ask why it shows on some a trade after hours and the pps is say up 24%. What you are seeing are referred to as "T Trades". T Trades are trades that happened at some point during the day but the MM's (Market Makers) just didn't post the trade til after the close. Most MM's post them as they occur but some do it after the close. Say stock ABCD closed at 0025 but the after hours info shows a gain on the stock and shows the last trade at 003. That was merely a trade that may have went thru in the AM when the stock was trading in the 003 range but was posted after the Close. It has no influence on what the pps will open at the following morning.
