I find it funny that the conservatives are apoplectic about Nate Silver's 538.com showing that the odds favor Obama winning by close to 5-1.

Now let's look at another group that has also been modeling and predicting things - The Princeton Election Consortium. Of course this will also be discounted by the conservative because these guys are elitist educated people with knowledge so what do they know? Well they are predicting that the Probability of Obama re-election: Random Drift 98.0%, Bayesian Prediction 99.8%. But these guys are saying that the odds are close to 49-1 that Obama wins.

Now how good are these guys - well in the last two presidential election they have missed the final electoral votes by 1 electoral vote.
