That post was about showing people the data from the FINRA and SEC databases along with how they defined what is a "Short" and what is a "Failure to Deliver" (FTD) and how a FTD is synonymous with being a "Naked Short Share" within the market.
Then that post was about allowing people to see that after doing further research, the Naked Short position here is SRGE could be very small, but also could be very large. We have yet to have reviewed the Oct 2012 Net Naked Short data from the SEC so we won't know.
Still, because it is only a snapshot in time, we don't know how much of a covering has actually taken place because by the time the Oct 2012 list of Net Naked Short data is released, much could have transpire to either justify or not justify a covering. This is what neither you nor I will know. As long as the integrity of the share structure remains intact, I think we can surmise what situation exists at a very minimum. Regardless, still, I think it's safe to say that there are some FTDs. Just how big or small... well, you be the judge.
