Can someone explain how a shoddy 8-K was put out with the dividend details?

It doesn't make sense ....

Date of record is October 1, ok I got that.

Date of payment is October 11, ok seems reasonable.

Date of ex-dividend October 12, say what?

How can the ex-dividend date be after the date of payment.

This should have been rectified.
