The Kenya block adjacent to ERHC's massive block 11A just signed a farm-in partner with a full carry.

(Scroll to the bottom for all charts and text please)

This leaves ERHC’s new block as the only remaining majority block surrounded by Tullow led exploration to the North-East, East, West, and South. With a 1 Billion bbl discovery to the West in Uganda and a new, possibly larger oil reservoir just to the south in Kenya 10BB at the Ngamia-1 discovery. Noting also the massive 6 Billion bbl oil fields to the North in Sudan along the same trend.

This post details this new Full Carry for the block next to ERHC’s block 11A: ERHC Exploring for Elephants in Kenya!

It is full of real information and links to supporting documents. Not imaginary conspiracies, or tricky and repetitive rhetoric meant to cast doubt on ERHC’s undeniably highly prospective and massive oil exploration block in Kenya and the tremendous potential of ERHE which includes massive exploration blocks in Chad, Kenya, the JDZ and São Tomé's EEZ. Currently ERHE is priced at only one penny per exploration block!

This proves beyond a doubt that ERHC’s 11A block is in fact highly prospective and ERHC has an excellent chance to secure a full-carry, or raise money to identify good prospects and make an even better JV deal, or go it alone through drilling keeping 100%. All very viable options now in what is currently the world hottest exploration region.

Does it guarantee that ERHE will identify elephant sized targets on Block 11A and make an Elephant sized discovery? Of course not. Nothing is proven until actual drilling and testing.

Does it increase the probability? Yes, hugely. This year has been revolutionary for Kenya.

Does it increase the probability that ERHC will identify good targets though further gravity and targeted seismic studies (building on the existing seismic and gravity studies)? Yes, this is now highly probable.

Does it guarantee that ERHC has the ability to seek a full carry to explore block 11A should they prefer this to raising the funds to do it themselves? Yes, this is now nearly certain with the adjacent 11B just receiving a full carry.

No coincidence that the word’s most successful exploration company in terms of discovery rate, Tullow, is all over Kenya and Southern Ethiopia like white on rice. Having already made an Elephant discovery to the West in Uganda. They are testing their theory of similar basins in Kenya, and have already discovered and even larger Elephant oil discovery just south of ERHC’s Block.

This map below shows the Tullow led exploration blocks outlined in Red, surrounding ERHC’s Block 11A. Not shown is Tullow’s existing discovery to the West in Uganda. Tullow is leading exploration in 5 blocks surrounding ERHC’s block 11A, an area over six times larger than their Uganda license with its Elephant discovery. Obviously Tullow considers Kenya highly prospective and have also just farmed-into block 12B not shown.

Note ERHC’s Kenya Block is all along the West and Central African rift system, with this chart below showing the Cretaceous basins where 6 Billion bbl of oil have been proven in Sudan extending into ERHC’s Kenya Block 11A. Note also that the proven Doba, Bongor,Doseo and Salamat Petroleum basins in Chad where ERHC has two massive blocks is also along this same rift system.

Note this same system showing cretaceous basins in some of Nigeria’s most prolific oil regions, the Gulf of Guinea’s Golden Rectangle. 5 Billion bbl as of 2004. (Below)

The 'Fat Lady' has yet to sing for ERHE, but we see the unemployed 'Fat Man' doing his best to step on ERHE butterflies daily. Most understand the game.
