nwsun -- there is no major law firm in the country that hasn't been what you'd deem to be 'in bed with' corporations -- utterly meaningless, inevitable in fact; rule out all folks who've worked in major law firms as potential appointees and you've ruled out by far the largest single group of high-level high-competence attorneys out there; in harping on that that you've taken, hook line and sinker, an absolute bullshit wingbutt 'talking' point

and Citizens United is a friggin' Supreme Court decision; it's the law, it's how things are, and as the Dems OF COURSE made clear they're not gonna unilaterally disarm in that respect even though they think the law should be different (though that's hardly mattered all that much either, as that money is in fact, and entirely unsurprisingly, going overwhelmingly to Willard and the Twerp and their wingbutt cohorts in any event)

and we have a GOP House, they're not gonna pass any contributor disclosure requirements let alone a proposed Constitutional amendment to close that back down, we've tried (and for good measure also been filibustered in the Senate, at least on a disclosure bill, I believe)

so WTF do you expect the Dems to do right now anyway, besides/beyond trying to fight and survive the fight that is here right now, as that fight in fact is here to be fought?

it is not hypocrisy to fight this fight under the rules that are in effect, that's totally unclear on the concept
