FWIW, I contacted ECR about the Lodrane 24/24D. Their reply FWIW:

Hello Mr. Meeker,
Regarding the Lodrane extended-release products: The 12-hour product would
likely be the first approved as it is submitted and under review. The two
24-hour products would follow and decisions whether to market all three
would be made when the 24-hour products are available. We are unable to
provide an expected product launch date at this time. Twenty-four hour
products offer advantages for allergy and chronic conditions, as well as
more acute conditions. Twelve hour products may be useful in both but are
likely more useful in acute conditions. The availability of the products
will influence market decisions.
