MSNBC's Toure: Romney Engaging In 'Ni--erization' Of Obama (VIDEO) 08/17/2012 MSNBC's Touré aroused the ire of the Romney campaign when he used the n-word to describe its tactics against President Obama. Speaking on "The Cycle" on Thursday, Touré said that recent comments by Romney carried the distinct whiff of racial dog-whistle politics. He pointed to a speech Romney gave attacking what he called Obama's "wild" accusations against him. "This is what an angry and desperate presidency looks like," he said. "Mr. President, take your campaign of division and anger and hate back to Chicago." Touré reacted strongly to this. "That really bothered me," he said. "You notice he says 'anger' twice. He's really trying to use racial coding and access some really deep stereotypes about the angry black man. This is part of the playbook against Obama. The otherization, he's not like us. I know it's a heavy thing to say. I don't say it lightly. But this is ni--erization. You are not one of us, and that you are like the scary black man who we've been trained to fear."
