The technology has been here, remember the Honda Clarity? The technology ISN'T being pushed because it IS cheap, efficient, and 100% environmentally friendly. They would rather push harmful environmental 'killers' such as hybrids. The mere production of a Prius causes more harm to the environment than a "gas guzzler" full size truck does in the entirety of its lifespan- this is due to the production of their batteries. Why not push near zero impact energy sources such as diesel(which can easily be converted to biodiesel), OR hydrogen? It's all about the $$$$.

If GreenCell were to shoot for major profit in today's market, they should be trying to market their O2 sensors. That is the real money maker.
