dndood -- this proposed SHIELD Act, which of course does propose to change the patent law, is out there (again, [linked in] http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=78420942 and preceding and following) -- and we've got crackpots like Posner (e.g. [linked in] http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=77227091 and following) not content just to do the jobs they've sworn to do applying and enforcing the law, but instead going activist from the bench and running around advocating that there should be no injunctive/equitable relief whatsoever available in cases involving standards-essential IPRs (which is also, of course, advocating that the ITC have no power at all to act in any way in cases involving standards-essential IPRs no matter what infringements of valid IPRs it may find)

seems pretty clear to me that the battle is anything but over or settled even for now, but rages on with the open and brazen attacks on our side and our interests escalating
