I believe and have long believed that a Middle East war is inevitable and coming this year. The problem I have with most(not all) of the pundits on TV is that they seem to think that a war with Iran will be just isolated to Iran. I disagree with them completely. I think that is an impossibility. Any war with Iran will definitely in my opinion draw Syria into the battle who will fiercely support Iran and it will definitely draw Lebanon in as well as Hizbullah will most assuredly slam Israel with its thousands of rockets it holds within the Lebanese borders. I think Israel and or whoever tries to assist them will face war from three fronts, Iran, Syria and Lebanon. Such an attack on Iran which I believe will draw Lebanon and Syria in as well which will also create a decision for China and especially Russia who are allies with Iran and Syria in particular. Iraq also has a large contingent of Iranian loyalists led by Moqtada al Sadr who may try to come to the aide of Iran, its main financial backer. So what many(not all) feel will just an isolated war with Iran are wrong in my view as this could cascade into a much broader war.
If an attack or international coalition decides to attack Syria over the Syrian issues, Im not so convinced Iran will come to the direct aide of Syria(even though I do think Syria would aide an attack on Iran) so that siutation , I beleive would just be isolated to Syria for the most part.
Just my opinion. We shall see what transpires. My hope is all war could be avoided but those hopes look slim.
