GSVC has another problem in that way too much money is spent on salary and perks for the management. It's getting bled dry. I think that's why SVVC is doing better than GSVC today. Even though they hold a higher percentage of total value in FB. It's public conception that will take a while to change. Neither of these vehicles need to have a stock go public to have value.
As the association with FB wears off a bit, I think GSVC is in a better position overall. That is, now that Mo is demoted and there's some hope that the bleeding will end.
Basically I agree with you. They're both down large. However I like the distribution of assets of GSVC much better. I wouldn't buy either one now myself. Any disagreement you and I have is in what is short term vs long term (I think).
