there is no court document authorizing it, but it was the subject of an emergency hearing and then another hearing and a number of motions after the hearings

the judge had full knowledge of it and did not stop it

the corporate action was filed by Quasar with Finra who got several conflicting letters from a former (s) CEO alleging the court was going to issue an order stopping it and no such order came and finra approved (if that is the right word) the action...
they require no legal opinion

computershare then processed the corporate action despite similar intereference
