the corporate action was filed by Quasar with Finra who got several conflicting letters from a former (s) CEO alleging the court was going to issue an order stopping it and no such order came and finra approved (if that is the right word) the action...
they require no legal opinion
computershare then processed the corporate action despite similar intereference
does that answer your question? and where did this legal opinion stuff come from?
