for anyone who says "The Stimulus" did not work....

the charts show different. It Worked! The one that I like the best is, Capacity Utilization = Very Nice

Unfortunate though so much of any easy money ploy goes into malinvestment unproductive or short term pops instead of growing the pie. That is why "Stimulus" and easy money policies weaken in the long run. The ruling elite tend to influence public policy, in terms of short term gain and do not care much about the underlying social, political and economic situation. As long as they are in power, they can manipulate most any situation that arises, in favor of their interests of preserving influence and expanding power. Ponzi finance capital misallocated stimulus full of malinvestment still works to give a boost but comes along with declining innovation. What is the difference between ignorance and perversity if the really smart, hard working people who could increase their wealth by focusing on growing the pie, are instead focused on increasing their relative share of the pie. Late stage fiat currency systems encourage and reward manipulation of money far more than production of products, goods and useful services. The highly productive among us realize that changing the system to increase productive contribution would also reduce the economic rent and influence they now depend upon. So I believe that increasing knowledge about how this is working, really working against our nation is going to be a decisive factor in reducing perversity, which involves broad and deep institutional changes.
