Occam's Razor. The simplest answer is probably the truth. Whomever typed the name of the chart included brand awareness in the title because it sounded good.
I saw some marketing collateral and brand awareness was excluded and media mentions were included. If the media mentions were filtered by press releases, the number would be less than 10 in the past year.
