Nabors jumps on upgrade to buy at Guggenheim

Guggenheim Securities LLC upgraded the oil service firm to buy from neutral. Analyst Michael LaMotte said the rating change "is first and foremost" a valuation call, supported by a sum-of-the-parts net asset value and discount cash flow analysis. "Improving U.S. gas market fundamentals and expanding international margins [may] prompt investors to consider how oversold the stock has become relative to the company's underlying asset value and strong cash flow," LaMotte said in a note to clients
