JB, I've seen the story you proffered and a few more that contain some additional intel. Thx for your efforts keeping us in the loop.

As an example, check this report put out by Range Resources, that gives us some crucial information :

" Range Sees Oil in Puntland’s Deeper Sandstones

Date: Tuesday, May 15

Drilling of the Shabeel-1 well in Puntland has reached a depth of 3,425 meters according to Range Resources. The company confirmed that a 150 meter gross section of oil and possible net pay of 12 to 20 meters was encountered thus far. Range also said that oil shows have been found in deeper lying sandstone which are currently being drilled.

“A testing program including the zones discovered to date and any deeper potential pay zones encountered will be agreed with the operator upon total depth being reached,” the company said in a release.

Drilling will continue down to 3,800 meters. The primary and secondary targets are believed to be in Lower Cretaceous and Jurassic intervals that are equivalent to the main productive section seen in similar fields in Yemen.

Once the well is complete it is planned that the rig will move to the Shabeel North location, where construction is nearing completion for the second well. "

Here's the paragraph that rocks my boat :

" Drilling will continue down to 3,800 meters. The primary and secondary targets are believed to be in Lower Cretaceous and Jurassic intervals that are equivalent to the main productive section seen in similar fields in Yemen."

This is very clear in it's meaning. The BIG OIL is there in the down deep, similar to the Yemem fields.

Billions of barrels ??

Roll the dice,
