The 1.5 million dollar light jets aren't worth it. Far better off with a twin engine KIng Air for those prices. Operating costs are hourly not daily. Pilots aren't really expensive. The guy I fly with owns a couple twin engine planes pays the pilot $300 a day for a 8 passenger twin engine runs about 360 an hour operating costs part of which goes to the maintanence. He has a hanger as part of his office space and that is $2 square foot so overall not too bad but certainly a luxury.
NetJets is very expensive for what you get. The convienience is great though. Planes can't really be justified, like country clubs can't be justified for playing golf but nice perk if you can afford it.
