i remember alittle bit the orphan drug fight between genenzyme, and another biotech, everyone thought it would come down between just two companies genenzyme and i cant remember, but neither got the nod for orphan drug status except this little company which wasnt even in the spot light, had i believe had some natural form of some drug derived from plants, lol, that got the orphan drug status, subsequently the company went bankrupt even with the orphan drug status for 3 years, or whatever it was at that time. I thought hey, theres no way, theve got the orphan drug status, and thats got to be worth something, or perhaps they can sell what they know to another company. (wrong) It was a long time ago back before Genenzyme i think ticker gene was about 11 dollars or round abouts, and dipped when everyone realized they werent gonna profit from it. I cant remember if the company that got orphan drug status was 6 dollars or around a dollar, i seem to remember 6.
