Go to Home Depot's website and look at the the light bulb category under electrical items.

Of the 211 Reflector type lamps they sell the top 2 are EcoSmart LED lamps.
Of the 148 A-Line type lamps they sell the top 4 are LED; 2-4 are EcoSmart.
Of the 140 Energy Star compliant lamps they sell the top 3 are EcoSmart.
LSCG makes the Eco Smart brand.
( as well as lamps for Osram Sylvania)

Adoption is just starting to pick up. Prices wont get much lower than now.
Marketing will ramp up soon.
Saturday is Earth Day and Philips is pushing the new L-Prize winning bulb for $50!

LSCG has big debt and that's a concern.
However they are not "numbskulls" and are in fact some former Philips engineers and other very talented people.
The new MR-16 they just introduced being the latest evidence.
