Mineria Activa was created in 2008 to manage private equity investments in the Mining industry from exploration to production. It currently has assets under management of US$135mm.
Mineria Activa is constantly reviewing mining prospects at different stages of the development cycle, from mining property with no studies to productive projects. The Company seeks control of the projects it gets involved and is focused in Latin America with particular interest in Chile.
The Company has a strong team with experience in Investments, Geology, Mining and Financial and Legal structuring.
Mineria Activa has an in-house, full time technical team to execute projects that includes 14 Geologists and four Mining Engineers. The extended team is made up of 33 professionals.
The Company is a partnership between Activa, Larrain Vial’s private equity arm, and a team of partners with extensive experience.
