UPDATE: The 83 year old woman...Glenna... that i requested prayer for awhile back with a diagnosis of double pneumonia. Turned out she ALSO had a blood infection from a bad fall in her chicken coop that tore the hide off her arm the size of my hand and made a bad deep cut and skent her leg a couple weeks before. They figure now the bad cut got chicken manure in it when she fell and they just didnt get it all out when she went to get it sowed up at the ER. Which would be hard to do i reckon. The blood infection put her heart into Atrial fibrillation. Her kidneys also went into stage 3 failure and her sugar and sodium went crazy to the point she had to have Insulin twice a day and sodium saline by IV for a few days to get that back to normal. She became a very sick woman!
Well, yesterday, after 11 days in the hospital she came home last evening. Her heart is still acting up but on meds to control....her kidneys are still damaged...BUT....they say she is doing just fine and all is well. Gonna have home health come in for a short spell until she gets her strength back and then i reckon she will be as sassy as ever....SMILE!
