Garcia makes 12 on way to 76

DORAL, Fla. — All things considered, Sergio Garcia’s score could have been much worse, especially after a 12 on the par-4 third hole.
Garcia found water right off the tee on the x-yard hole then proceeded to hit his next three shots into the water before finally hitting his ninth shot of the hole over the green, getting on the green in 10 and taking two putts for the 12.
Garcia understandably wasn’t in a mood to talk afterward — especially following a double bogey on the 18th, where he hit another approach into the water — but the rest of his round was actually pretty good. He made five birdies and an eagle and shot 4-over 76.
