TOS Ratio charts

create a ratio chart for the symbols of interest.
In tos charts, enter this in the symbol box > /ES-/DX
yes, this is an arithmetic subtraction, but the next step
gets you to your goal.

from the drop down tab 'studies' go to 'all studies'
then find 'pair ratio' in the 'm-p' alpha-grouping.

several important notes
the default calculation for pair ratio is lowest alpha
letter over higher letter (i.e., a/b even if you enter b-a)

to adjust this,
you need to go into 'edit study' find 'pair ratio' and
change the input properties for 'reverse' setting from
'no' to 'yes'

be sure to check the location of the decimal point in the
graphical display, as some numbers may display in 'thousandths'
automatically (but not obviously) moving the decimal for you.
i always have a simple calculator at hand to confirm things
like this)

Important note two: /dx futures have monthly expirations, while
/es has quarterly expirations (e.g., mar, jun, sep, dec). at
present the active /dx and /es are both june, but when one
or both roll to the next expiration, you may get price gaps
resulting solely from the roll event. you can force this
by using the full futures contract symbology for expiration month
