Culp, Inc.(Culp) manufactures, sources, and markets mattress fabrics used for covering mattresses and box springs, and upholstery fabrics primarily for use in production of upholstered furniture (residential and commercial). Culp operates in two business segments: mattress fabrics and upholstery fabrics. The mattress fabric business markets woven and knitted fabrics that are used primarily in the production of bedding products, including mattresses, box springs, and mattress sets. The upholstery fabric business markets a range of fabric products that are used in the production of residential and commercial upholstered furniture, sofas, recliners, chairs, loveseats, sectionals, sofa-beds, and office seating. The Company markets a range of fabrics in different categories to its global customer base, including fabrics produced at the manufacturing facilities and fabrics produced by other suppliers. It also source fabrics from other manufacturers, located primarily in China and Turkey.
