The legacy TPMs before Windows 8 ...

So, Microsoft is - finally - on board and touting TPMs at the 10 year anniversary of the famous Bill Gates "Trustworthy Computing" memo...

"Yes, but it will take several years before Windows 8 will be the main OS in corporations..."

That is the valid point many are making. But what does it mean, what is or will be the likely impact on Wave?

The main point is that Microsoft is doing it. Microsoft, as the most watched and most influential company in the IT field will make the private sector understand that a new and additional protection layer needs to be incorporated into the corporate protection layers.

Many enterprises have just recently upgraded to Windows 7, are not likely to want to again spend additional capital outlays for Windows 8 to take advantage of "Trustworthy Computing".

Wave provides the solution.

Wave enables all corporations with either Windows XP or Windows 7 to take advantage of Trustworthy Computing through Wave's backward compatibility. 500 million TPMs is quite a base!

This is something that is as important to Microsoft as it is to Wave.
