We know from long experience (when we operated SI) that allowing multiple boards per company is counterproductive to sustaining constructive dialog.

Less work for Admin is not the goal. Controversy is beneficial to constrictive dialog. Bad conduct in the course of debating controversial topics is undesirable. The site rules are designed to promote discussion while minimizing bad conduct.
