The AWSR email spam yesterday came from awesomepennystocks.com and its affiliates not awesomestocks.com. Slight difference.

Who is awesomestocks.com?

They don't share the same servers as the core group of Eric Van Nyugen promotional companies:

Their website is very similar though and they claim to have made the same picks:

They even tell you to sign up for their email alerts to receive your "awesome penny stock picks"

Are they just a knock off trying to make money off of another groups fame?


I could be wrong, but it looks like awesomestocks.com was for sale until recently. On January 22, 2012 it was bought and turned into the website you see today. Before that it just redirected to Hugedomains.com where it sat waiting to be purchased.

awesomestocks.com hasn't been an active website long enough to have made some of the picks they claim on their website (LEXG, AMWI)

Could be whoever runs awesomestocks.com was running a different promo site in the past and did pump those tickers from their past site.

They sure got a lot of twitter followers in a very short time, but judging by who those followers are they probably used some kind of site or outlet to just get random followers.

Funny how they make such an effort to draw attention to themselves by being a copy cat of awesomepennystocks.com then when an awesomepennystocks.com pick goes bust they make such an effort to separate themselves from awesomepennystocks.com
