MoSys, Inc. (MoSys) designs, develops, markets and licenses embedded memory intellectual property (IP), used by the semiconductor industry and electronic product manufacturers. The Company has developed a semiconductor memory technology, called 1T-SRAM. It licenses this technology to companies, which incorporate, or embed, memory on complex integrated circuits (ICs), such as system-on-chips (SoCs). The Company also designs, develops, markets and licenses parallel and serial interface input output (I/O), IP used by the semiconductor industry and electronic product manufacturers. Interface IP includes physical layer (PHY), circuitry, which allows ICs to communicate with each other or to discrete memory devices in networking, storage, computer and consumer devices. It supports serial I/O technologies, such as 10G KR, 10 gigabit attachment unit interface (XAUI) and peripheral component interconnect (PCI) Express, as well as parallel interfaces like double data rate 3 (DDR3).
