Perhaps some of you remember about my friend who is still in Iran, but getting out at some time soon ? . .. Well we got the tickets for him for about three and 1/2 weeks from now.. but THIS is what I wanted you to know .. I SWEAR this is the truth, when I heard it .. I all most fell off the counter . .lol .. .. He had sent his wife few hundred thousand dollars, last early december late november .. and HE HAD to pay thirty thousand to move it out of Iran .. NOW, I don't know if he means in the dollar or the rial .. for the 30,000 I mean.. His wife is here with us, & she says it's the dollar, but I just find it hard to believe that and she stays here, and with her kids when he's not around .. they're divorced but still love each other very very much and have beautiful daughters and one grandchild with another one on the way ... ;). .. so he sent the money here so his X wife could buy them a home . .. he's totally disgusted at his country now and thank goodness this is his country too! .. AND it's gotten worse over there ... he's called three times in the last four days in the evening here ... that's how fast Iran is changing it's currency rules ... Last year they could bring home cash with them . . .I think he said 10,000 ....then this year sometime oh ....around early last week .. .they told them 5,000 ONLY and oh yes .. NOW you cannot buy dollars with your rials ... in the last couple of days ... so right NOW .. I ran into this ... that explains it so much better than this ..... ;) Iran is REALLY REALLY HURTING .. I FEEL so BAD for the PEOPLE there ! And OH YEAH! ..NOW, you can only bring 1,000 dollars out of the country ..!

............I'm sure they don't mean it ..BUT ..they have closed down a bunch of currency traders ... sheeesh!
