E-Waste Systems Announces Partnership with Fine Resources, Inc.
LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- E-Waste Systems, Inc. (OTC BB: EWSI) announced today that it has entered into a business agreement with Fine Resources, Inc. (“FRI”), dba Resource Recycling, a commodity and electronic waste trading firm based in Daphne, Alabama. Due to the completion of this contract, Rick Fine, Founder and President of Fine Resources, Inc., has been appointed Executive Consultant of Global Business Development. Through this partnership, EWSI will expand upon its capability to source large volumes of end-of life electronics. Mr. Fine will be responsible for sourcing waste streams and aggregating downstream volumes of commodities for refining and reusing electronics and sourcing partnerships to achieve EWSI’s goals of vertical integration.
The Company recently closed its first U.S. acquisition in Ohio and has announced plans to make further acquisitions in the U.S. to create a unified platform of businesses offering high-quality solutions to the management of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (“WEEE”). EWSI is actively building relationships with businesses and other organizations facing regulatory and/or other mandates for the handling of their e-waste and the appointment of Rick Fine of FRI is expected to accelerate that activity.
EWSI’s strategy is to grow by acquiring targeted enterprises led by innovative management teams, which together can build upon a shared commitment to providing cost-effective and environmentally-responsible compliance with e-waste recycling and disposal requirements. In addition to expanded feed streams, the appointment of FRI includes incentives to bring other quality companies to EWSI as acquisition candidates, and upon aggregation of suitable tonnages, to lead to the opening of new Fair Trade e-waste processing plants, all of which add to and complement EWSI’s overall business strategy.
