and it seems quite/all too apparent to me that, for better or for worse, Obama has been doing so pursuing a very clear "OK, fine, let's make damned sure we've done everything else we can, full range of covert/intel ops included, to resolve this short of battle, and make damned sure we're ready for that battle" strategy -- like him or not, Obama does tend more than many politicians to do what he has said he would do -- really don't think he's been bluffing on this
