Our fundamental Strategy for meeting these objectives is to focus our acquisitions, exploration and development in mining–friendly regions that host existing successful mines and established infrastructure. This strategy offers the advantages of lower exploration, development and operating costs while increasing the chances of success. Additionally, the relative security of operating in such regions generally translates into better opportunities for funding.
