SWING TRADING ON OCEAN WAVES

So many people prefer to invest and let their money sit in a stock for a long time, while the stock has normal uptrends and downtrends.

I would encourage people to trade sensibly and take profits when they can. Following are my exact trades (from my IRA) since the day we alerted a new Ocean Wave to today's movement.

Examine these charts and learn some simple lessons:

1. I DID NOT make every buy at the bottom price or the sale at the very top price. Being close is all that matters. Some days I waited for the price to begin going up when I thought it would continue. Don't be afraid to 'miss' once in a while.

2. Sell earlier rather than later. I am much better at usually finding a higher exit point than finding a lower entry point. That's just the way it is. Don't hold on while you are going down the roller coaster. You can sell on the way down and buy a lot more shares later.

3. If you want to get a good sale price, often the first 10 minutes of the day is the best time to sell.

4. If you want to buy at a good price, usually between 12:30 and 2:00 are good times to buy, most pps drop around that time unless a stock is really on a roll.

SWING TRADING BEATS INVESTING most of the time.
If I only bought and sold once, I would be up 41.5% total on all 4 stocks (money invested to money earned). That is a GREAT percentage.
$15,380 worth of stock sold (if I was out of TA) for $21,773.

However, with the SAME STOCKS and the SAME TIME FRAME, I am currently up 150% on those same stocks.
$15,380 worth of stock would sell (if I was out of TA) for $38,474!

AVL Chart & Trades

I was buying this one on the way down, and just set a buy order where I thought I could get in and was not really even watching this stock the day after Thanksgiving.

Notice also, that I missed a lower entry point late in December - but generally you will. Don't let fear keep you from trying!

DEXO Chart & Trades

I missed a great day to initially get in DEXO, but was unaware of it until after that evening when looking at my scans. Obviously, when you miss a very low initial entry point, all of your trading afterward is affected by it. But it still has been moving great, even though I didn't get in at a 'perfect' time.

DNN Chart & Trades

I missed a great opportunity to get in lower on 11/25 because it was the day after Thanksgiving and I really wasn't paying attention. I guessed the stock would keep going lower because of the holiday, but it jumped earlier than what I thought.

TA Chart & Trades

I was even able to earn a little bit while TA was generally on a downtrend. It wasn't a lot, but it sure was better than losing!
