I may mark someone because they PM'ed me and we talked a bit and they seem like a nice person.
I may exchange marks with someone because he/she want's to exchange with me. I don't need any reason.
Perhaps some people are stingy with their giving of personmarks. I and many others are not like that.
We are liberals in that department I guess...Lol
Perhaps you attribute too high of value to the giving of your personmarks in general and look at them as a "vote" of "excellence".
