If there is a turn-around story, you look for the bad year and even a really ugly bottom quarter(s), followed by quarters of rising revenue/sales. Can't say ASFX doesn't fit that storyline from the 2010 and 2011 quarters to date.
(IMO) Too early to call either extreme from your question. However, the risk-reward on new position taken at low/oversold PPS is favorable enough for at least that consideration for possible play. Difficult decision, even for experienced investors. Another quarter or two of good numbers or any big-ticket-sales news could obviously change the current sentiment on the stock. At the very least, I'd keep an eye on ASFX for more signs of progress, especialy if you're uncomfortable with risk in the OTC Market.
