03/2011: Another knife in CSMG(CTGI) corpse: It's reported that Intuitive Surgical is teaming up with Ultrafast Spectroscopy and Lasers (IUSL) of City University of New York (CUNY). There is recent Infra-red laser surgical technology that creates an immediate water-tight tissue seal that heals with no appreciable scarring. Defunct CSMG-LTC was of course based on electric, not laser, tissue welding. The salt in defunct CSMG-LTC wound is mention that Intuitive Surgical is teaming with CUNY for possible incoporation of CUNY's scarless laser surgery into the DaVinci robotic system. How many ways can CSMG-LTC (CTGI) be dead? lol

LASER TISSUE WELDING/RAMAN SPECTROSCOPY
Light is the only catalyst in this wound-stitching approach

The quality of the (laser) weld is so extraordinary that under a 480X SEM magnification, little difference is observed between the welded region (shown by arrows) and the normal region. The weld is full thickness over the full length with little damage to the tissue.

Thanks to the rapid transfer of energy from water to collagen fibers in the tissue, the mechanism produces almost invisible scars.

The team reports satisfactory welding on guinea pig aorta and skin tissues using a pulsed-mode fiber laser at 1535 nm. The tensile strength of the welded tissue is very similar to original tissue samples and shows histologically, very little or no evidence of scarring in the welded area.

The team is working with Intuitive Surgical Corp., maker of the Da Vinci surgical system, on possible incorporation of Laser Tissue Welding (LTW) into robotic surgery. Without the addition of foreign agents into the surgical field, the probability of tissue breakdown is low, as is risk of infection. And the key benefits of LTW are: tight seal, less scarring, and fast closure and healing.

Thanks to the rapid transfer of energy from water to collagen fibers in the tissue, the mechanism produces almost invisible scars. The collagen fibers undergo a number of molecular transformations, resulting, in the end, in the creation of hydrogen and covalent bonds.

These are my opinions and sentiments. Buying stocks poses demonstrable risks; you could lose all or part of your principal investment. Use iBoxes for DD start.

Buying gold won't save your soul, but it might save your skin someday.
