The main focus of the management team is to prove resources and sell the company to the highest bidder. Problem with the coalbed methane angle is that gas seems to be a depressed market right now with all the new drilling technology bringing supply to market.

If SPLM drills and hits oil at least that would rovide the company with operating cash to fulfill the cash requirements to prove up the extent of te coalbed methane.
