BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - Nov 21, 2011) - Zoom Telephonics, Inc. (OTCBB: ZMTP) announced today that it has begun volume shipments of the Zoom X7N Model 5790, an ADSL 2/2+ Wireless-N 4-port Modem/Router. The X7N incorporates Broadcom® IC technology and features Wi-Fi® compatible 2x2 wireless-N with wireless range up to 1000 feet (300 meters) and wireless data speeds up to 300 Mbps. Model 5790 has an advanced firewall, hardware VPN, support for both IPv6 and IPv4, and many other advanced features. Setup is fast and easy using any Web browser, with an Install Assistant and Auto-detection of ADSL settings to further simplify installation. The X7N is produced and supported by Zoom Telephonics, a USA producer of quality communication products since 1977.
