The money in many small cap biotechs is made on the anticipation of the approval, so positive price action is again prior to the FDA saying Yes/No on the drug. Another issue that comes into play is whether or not the company can be successful in marketing the new drug. There are many that don't go anywhere but down after getting their drug approved, recent examples are DNDN & SVNT. Approval does not mean that PCRX will be profitable or successful.
