Merlot was my favorite years ago when I began to recognize quality wines, but it quickly faded as I discovered Cabernets. Warm weather made cold whites very pleasant and soon Sauvignon Blancs took over as my favorite.
Had a nice New Zealand Ferngreen Sauvignon Blanc this evening, $5.99 at Trader Joes.
Still on the low budget wine circuit.
