I fail to see the departure of Jacob Wayne Pickett as a negative for KATX / BVIG in light of his work history. He apparently has made a practice of working for only relatively short periods of time for any of the companies he has worked with.
According to J Wayne Pickett’s own Resume, Mr Picket worked for many different companies over his career. His career shows a pattern that indicates he only works for a company for a short time and then moves on to the next company.

We know that Mr Pickett’s most recent work has been with KATX / BVIG, so we will begin there.

KATX / BVIG from July 2010 to October 2011 (worked 1 year and 3 months)

December 2009 to July 2010 ( do not know where he worked for 8 months)

November, 2008 – December, 2009 (worked about a year)
Consulting Geologist – VARIOUS COMPANIES

October, 2005 – October, 2008 (worked three years)
Exploration Manager and Subsequently Vice President Exploration for Crosshair Exploration & Mining Corp.,
Suite 202, 66 Kenmount Road, Kenmount Business Centre, St. John's, NL A1B 3V7

April, 2005 – September, 2005 (worked about 6 months)
Geological Consulting for Endeavour Silver Corp., Suite 800-850 West Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC V6C 1E1

May, 2003 – February, 2005 (worked about a year and 9 months)
Geological Consulting FOR CORNERSTONE RESOURCES INC., 109 Clyde Avenue, Mount Pearl, NL, A1N 4R9

January, 2002 – April, 2003 (worked about a year and 3 months)
Geological Consulting for International Wayside Gold Mines Ltd. (IWA), Island Mountain Gold Mines Ltd. (IGM),
Northern Continental Resources Inc. (NCR), 1500 - 675 West Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC V6B 1N2

June 2001 – October 2001 (worked about 5 months)
Geological Consulting for Northern Platinum Limited, 206-837 West Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC, V6C 3N6

September 2000 – February 2001 (worked about 5 months)
Geological Consulting for Island Mountain Gold Mines Ltd., 305 - 455 Granville Street, Vancouver, BC, V6C 1T1

January 1998 – February 2000 ( worked about 2 years and 1 month)
Geological Consulting for Gold-Ore Resources Ltd., 900-999 West Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC, V6C 2W2

May 1993 – December 1997 (worked about 4 years and 6 months
FOR VARIOUS COMPANIES)
Geological Consulting FOR VARIOUS COMPANIES

May, 1989 - December, 1992 (Worked about 3 years and 6 months)
Geological Consulting for Teck Exploration Ltd.

1982-1989 (WORKED FOR VARIOUS COMPANIES FOR 7 YEARS)
Geological Consulting FOR VARIOUS COMPANIES IN NEWFOUNDLAND, Completed Master of Science Program

1976-1982 (worked about 6 years)
Staff Geologist for Gulf Minerals Canada Limited

1972-1976 (worked about 4 years for 3 DIFFERENT COMPANIES)
Noranda Exploration Company Limited, Cominco Limited, Geological Survey of Canada

I THINK MR PICKETT'S OWN WORK HISTORY SHOWS THAT HE MOVES AROUND A LOT FROM JOB TO JOB. ALSO IF YOU CONSIDER THAT MR PICKET IS APPROACHING RETIREMENT AGE, HE MAY EVEN BE READY TO PUT DOWN THE PICK AND SHOVEL FOR GOOD. HIS DEPARTURE FROM KATX / BVIG IS NOT AUTOMATICALLY A NEGATIVE FOR KATX / BVIG.

Mr Pickett’s Education shows
Master of Science, Earth Science (Geology), Memorial University of Newfoundland (1989)

Bachelor of Science, Geology, Memorial University of Newfoundland (1974)
