Strategic Mining Commissions Metallurgical Tests on Its Nat Son Gold Property in Vietnam

Strategic Mining Corporation (OTCBB:SMNG) announces today that it has commissioned Mr. Richard Kunter (BSc,MSc) to perform metallurgical tests on ore samples from the company's Nat Son property in Vietnam.
Mr. Kunter has been sent samples from Vietnam and ALS Chemex in order to conduct a range of tests to determine the most productive methods of gold and silver extraction from Nat Son ore. He has also been commissioned to test tailing samples from the nearby Dong Thanh gold mine to evaluate the economic viability of reprocessing its existing tailings. Mr. Kunter will be working closely with Arrakis Laboratories Inc. of Englewood Colorado in conducting his investigations.

Mr. Kunter is a metallurgical engineer with over 40 years experience in the mining industry, including the preparation and review of technical and/or qualified person's reports, metallurgical and process development programs, and statements of metallurgical recovery from mineral sources on various properties domestically and internationally. He has held senior positions in Newmont Mining, Homestake Mining and Western Mining. Mr. Kunter earned his BSc and MSc degrees in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Idaho. He is a Chartered Professional Metallurgical Engineer in good standing with the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy No. 100346 and is a Qualified Person No. 01217QP of the Mining and Metallurgical Society of America. He holds two patents related to pressure oxidation of refractory gold ores.

Mr. Kunter has been invited to sit on the company's advisory board of highly qualified and experienced mining professionals.
