es1 -- I fully agree with your points. My difficulty here is the perception I have about the value of engaging the repetitious ill-informed -- and perhaps it's wrong... that if one lets myth/lore go unchallenged, then it becomes a quasi-truth. And a quasi-truth that can hurt others here who believe in the fantasy and not the realities.

And the other corollary is, sometimes I feel that not only are they ill-informed, but perhaps they may be intentionally misleading to benefit their own trading. I find that sinister and malicious.

So, I engage. But perhaps you are right. There does become a limit of how much is required.
