I toured SDI's mini mill/flat roll facility at Fort Wayne this summer, that EAF is an amazing thing to see.

SDI has great efficiencies built into their supply chain. They own Omnisource, a premier scrap collector, and if you live in the midwest you see their trucks everywhere.

With the American economy hit so hard, the steel producers and the banks are just in the crapper. STLD is going to be one of my "recovery" plays, probably towards the end of next year.
