Judge Nation was wrong. Appearing pro hac vice is required in every state, including GA and DE, when an out of state lawyer wishes to appear as a lawyer representing a client in that state. Wallace did not appear as a lawyer. He appeared as the injured party. Read Section I, Paragraph 12 of the GA Constitution. Anyone can represent themselves on their own claims. Judge Nation was wrong. The appellate courts did not disagree with Wallace. They both declined to hear the appeal and did not rule either way. In neither opinion did they criticize Wallace. I wasn't aware that the judicial Review Board is looking at Judge Nation. But that doesn't surprise me. When a judge ignores the constitution, he should be reprimanded.
