Red carpet report: 'Cowboys & Aliens' premiere

Cowboys & Aliens director Jon Favreau decided to have the world premiere of his upcoming summer blockbuster Cowboys & Aliens at the San Diego Civic Theater (1100 3rd Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101) during Comic-Con International on Saturday July 23rd, 2011. The red carpet Cowboys & Aliens event will begin at 7 pm PST with the movie showing an hour later. Favreau has always had a soft spot for San Diego and Comic-Con, and announced at the LA Times Hero Complex Film Festival last week that "not only are we going to premiere it there (San Diego), we’re going to find a way to include as many of the fans as possible. I feel like they’ve come out for me, they’ve supported me.”
