Alabama Secretary of State, Business Services Division, recently added the Certified/Non-Certified Business Entity Copies application to its suite of online offerings for businesses (https://www.alabamainteractive.org/sos_bec/welcome.action). Businesses can now conveniently purchase and print certified or non-certified business entity copies online through the newly available application. The new online service provides the copies instantly for businesses, saving time over the previous paper process which had taken up to six weeks and allowing businesses to avoid paying the $100 expediting fee. Rebecca Morris, the Director of Business Services for the Secretary of State’s office, noted how the agency strives to provide the best service possible for Alabama businesses. “The Secretary of State continues to seek methods to improve service to Alabama’s business community. Secretary of State Chapman has been particularly innovative in making records more readily available during the aftermath of the storms that have disrupted or destroyed so many businesses in North Alabama,” Morris said.
More information on the new Certified/Non-Certified BusinessEntity Copies application can be found at https://www.alabamainteractive.org/sos_bec/welcome.action.
