CORONA DEL MAR, Calif., Jul 20, 2011 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- ActionView
International, Inc.'s (Pink Sheets:AVEW) WCFC mixed martial arts league today
announced that the feature fight of the Pierpoint Street Bash August 20th in
Downtown Salt Lake City will showcase UFC Ultimate Fighter veteran Brandon
Melendez facing Jarome Hatch, who has been openly proclaiming himself as the
best pound for pound fighter in the Rocky Mountains after a recent convincing
win against another Ultimate Fighter alum, Kyacey Uscola. Melendez, who is a
former SportFight Welterweight Champion, shrugged off the bragging Hatch,
stating, "I've watch the Uscola fight--I'm not impressed."
Also on the fight card, knock-out phenom Cody Ziemer will fight hardened veteran
Dave Castillo in a match that showcases two top young fighters. Joe Wooten,
Chief Executive Officer of ActionView, commented, "Cody Ziemer is an exciting,
undefeated fighter from Boise, Idaho that has won every fight by knock out, and
Dave Castillo is a tough as nails technical fighter that has both knock out

In the 170lb weight class, flashy "Hollywood" Zach Owens continues his quest for
stardom when he faces undefeated Sean Powers whose name and record serve as his
moniker. An additional superheavyweight fight will be added to the pro card as
unexpectedly several top contenders have lobbied to get on the card. The all-day
festival will include a pro-am MMA fight card, street vendors, live bands and a
guaranteed bevy of beautiful women as Miss Bikini Universe and friend of the
WCFC, Katerina Schload, has offered to host a bikini contest.

The Pierpont Street Bash is being held in conjunction with the Inferno Cantina
